I love Christmas and what it represents to us as people of faith. It’s a time when we reflect on the birth of our Savior when God Himself became flesh and dwelt among us. What amazes me most is that Jesus entered the world just like you and me, through His mother’s womb. I refer to this miraculous event as, “the unplanned pregnancy that saved the world!”

Right around this time our family calendar quickly begins filling up with Christmas activities and annual traditions. Among them are regular hikes through Sabino Canyon and trips to Mt Lemmon, where we may just see a sprinkling of snow. We spend hours in the kitchen making Grandma’s famous cookie recipe, while sipping hot chocolate and listening to worship music. It’s in these special moments I realize how fast time flies and what a blessing it is to be creating memories with our children that will last a lifetime.

It’s my prayer that every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy has the chance to make similar memories with their families. In order for that to happen, they need to know Hands of Hope will be there when it matters most, which means we need your support more than ever this Christmas! You and I have an opportunity to impact future generations and family traditions.
