Dear Life Advocate,

It is the simplest idea.

It is how we would wish to be treated.

It is welcoming and very personal.

But it is not what is experienced or expected in today’s world. Here, it is all about listening and serving with sincere interest and not about reciprocity. It is about beginning a relationship that develops over time compassion and trust. It is hope being reborn and nurtured. It is about devoting time and attention and prayer. It is about saving lives. It is about loving without expectation.

It is about grace. It’s about Jesus.

All of this… This IS Hands of Hope! Through the developing of relationships with our clients after first meeting them where they are, their lives are changed. They experience God through our hands and feet and voice, and countenance. Yes, He is on display.

As Jonathan Edwards stated: ”… (as) they increase in the knowledge of God and the works of God, the more they will see of His excellency; and the more they see of His excellency… the more they love Him; and the more they love God, the more delight and happiness… will they have in Him.” He, after all, is their true champion.

Through the support of all our life advocates; the donors, the volunteers, the prayer warriors – ALL of YOU – engage with our clients just as we do. Your support takes you into our pregnancy centers as we speak about life, their hearts and their futures. Your giving – your championing of life, stands you in God’s stead, just as He would have it.
