If you are a man or woman who is struggling with a past abortion decision, Hands of Hope can provide you a path to healing through our Deeper Still Retreat. This 3 day weekend is a time for you to step away from your daily responsibilities, be ministered to by our specially trained team, and allow God to heal your abortion wounded heart.

Many women and men in our families, churches, and community have been involved with abortion and they may be struggling. We want them to know they are not alone. In fact, if you have not personally been impacted by abortion, it is likely that you encounter people every day who have had this experience.
Following an abortion, there may be emotions that are difficult to understand. Often they are pushed down and set aside to be dealt with later, in the hope they will go away on their own. They may be subtle—a sense of sadness, loss, regret or emptiness—thoughts and memories that creep into your awareness unexpectedly. Or there may be a more profound impact from the abortion experience—depression, anxiety, difficulty in relationships, addictions, or an inability to have children. God wants to heal you!
At Hands of Hope Tucson, we offer the hope of Jesus to those who have been involved with abortion, we provide a safe place to talk, and we help you identify and work through the spiritual and emotional effects of this decision. We believe there are 2 very necessary and equal sides to full healing. First, on the spiritual side, there is the issue of forgiveness. We will help you embrace God’s forgiveness so you can be free of the chains of guilt and shame—completely and forever! (Isaiah 44:22 NLT “…for I have paid the price to set you free”). Second, on the emotional side, there is the issue of grief. We will help you grieve, in a healthy way, the loss of your child—alleviating those expressions of unresolved grief like depression, anger, etc. (Psalm 30:5 NLT “…weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning”).
Because healing comes in different ways, we offer various options including individual peer counseling with trained staff or volunteers and peer support groups that work through an abortion recovery Bible study . For more information contact Lori at 520-321-9765 ex 406 or email@example.com. All inquiries are completely confidential!

Here is what our clients are saying…
“I’m glad I took the class. I never realized how much my abortion affected my entire life. My marriage is better and stronger because of my process of healing.”
“The study was fabulous because it was about His Truth in this horrible event in my life. The facilitators helped me identify things/hurts in my life that I didn’t know how to name.”
“Thanks to this group, I know I can be forgiven and that God loves me no matter what. I have found something in my life I never knew I could find—I have given myself to the Lord and received Him in my heart.”
“I feel this was a program that was a gift from God for me. I feel I can go on now without guilt and shame. Thank you for this immeasurable gift that you gave me.”
“Words cannot express my gratitude towards this program.”
“I have been a born again Christian for about 9 years and I am so amazed by God’s healing power through this program. I had the chance to mourn and bond with my (aborted) child in a manner that is so heartfelt and deep.”
“This program is so needed. I already knew that God forgave me, yet I lived with the knowledge of what I had done. The pain of that was so deep that I could not experience joy. This study led me to a place where I now experience the joy of forgiveness, and it allowed me to move past 36 years of pain. This is the most precious gift I have ever received, outside of Jesus’ sacrifice.”
“This Bible study helped give words to emotions I could not express before. It was a huge blessing to have in my community, and my prayer is that this ministry be protected and powerful among all that are, and will be touched by abortion.”
