When Jessica and her boyfriend Grant came to the Pregnancy Center they were considering abortion.

They were afraid of being parents and not having the finances or resources necessary to continue with the pregnancy. Grant was especially scared because he didn’t feel ready to be a father and was unsure if he would be able to provide for his girlfriend or the baby given their circumstances.

Recently Jessica and Grant came for a visit to show off their 3 day old son and pick up a gift basket filled with needed baby items that we provide for all clients who make a courageous choice for life.

When we asked Jessica what impacted her decision, she shared that when we gave her a pair of baby booties she knew she wanted to have her baby because she wondered what he or she would look like in them. When the couple came back in for an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy, Jessica shared that she felt reassured of her choice to carry and parent once she saw her little one!

Seeing this young family melted our hearts because they are a precious couple that represent so many of the type of clients we have the privilege of serving. A couple once filled with fear...now filled with joy and love for a new little life.

Before heading home, the father of the baby who was once so fearful, now sat in the room confidently holding his newborn as though he has been a father for years. He told us that he is so thankful for our support and for their decision to choose life stating, “I know now it was the best choice!”

With the help of your faithful partnership 212 other babies were given a chance at life this year because moms and dads were ministered to. Our Central Ministry Focus is this: To meet people at their point of need that we might have the privilege of sharing the love of Jesus with them. This is our goal. Our desire is that every client that comes to our Pregnancy Center feels heard, accepted, loved and cared for.
